Day 58Healing for the Heart

He Perfects What He Started

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Philippians 1:6

Maybe you'll finish these days without feeling 100% healed — and that is completely normal. Healing of the heart isn't a finish line where, on some day, everything gets resolved forever. It's a work in progress, and there is a precious promise about works in progress: the One who began is the One who finishes. God doesn't abandon projects halfway. The good work He started in you — the healing, the restoration, the fresh start — He has committed Himself to carry through to the end. It doesn't depend only on your strength or your consistency; it depends on His faithfulness, which never gives up. So if there are still wounds in process, don't lose heart. You don't need to be ready; you only need to keep resting in His hands. The God who sustained you through these 60 days will keep caring for you long after the last page. The work isn't finished — but it's in faithful hands. And faithful hands always finish what they start.

Prayer

Lord, I am still in process, and that's all right. Thank You because You finish what You start. Continue Your work of healing in me. I trust in Your faithfulness. Amen.
