Day 50 — Healing for the Heart
Fifty Days: Look How Far You've Come
“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:”
Psalm 103:2
Fifty days. Stop and take a deep breath at this milestone. Back on Day 1, you showed up however you could — maybe with no strength, no hope, not knowing if you'd make it through. And look at you now. The heart that seemed like it would never get better has walked through fifty days of this journey. This isn't about being "completely healed" — healing has its own timing — but about recognizing how much God has already done. The psalmist deliberately reminds himself to "forget not all his benefits," because a wounded soul tends to forget the good quickly and hold on only to the pain. Today, do the opposite on purpose: remember the times God sustained you these past days, the small joys that returned, the strength that appeared out of nowhere. You have changed, even without realizing it. The road still continues, but look back with gratitude: God has brought you far. Bless Him for what He has already done — and take a breath for what remains.
Prayer
Lord, I bless You for everything You have done these past days. Don't let me forget Your benefits. Thank You for bringing me this far. Continue Your work in me. Amen.
