Day 89 — Strength for Mothers
A Mother Who Waited
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31
Waiting is not passivity. Waiting on the Lord is an active act of faith — it is deciding, every morning, that God is worthy of trust even without the answers you want.
And what does God promise to those who wait? Renewal. Not the preservation of what was — renewal. New strength for the woman who has come to the end of her own. The ability to fly when the weight feels impossible to carry.
You have made it nearly to day 90 of this book. That means you have sought God, one day at a time. That has value. Every day you opened these pages, every prayer you prayed, every moment of surrender — God saw it, and God acted.
You may not feel that your strength has been renewed. But the promise is real, and the God who made it does not lie. Wait. Keep waiting. Keep seeking. The renewal God gives never runs out.
Prayer
Father, I wait on You. Renew my strength to be the mother my children need. May I fly when I feel I cannot go on. Amen.
