Day 73 — Strength for Mothers
The God Who Fights for His Children
“But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.”
Isaiah 49:25
Read that slowly. "I will save thy children." Not a delegated angel. Not some generic force. God Himself — personally — fights for the children of those who fear Him.
If you have a child who seems trapped in something — an addiction, a bad influence, a mindset that's hurting them — God is watching. And He doesn't stand with His arms crossed. He "contends" with those who contend. He is a God who acts.
You do your part: you pray, you love, you set boundaries with wisdom, you don't give up. And God does the part only He can do — stepping in where you have no access, touching the heart, breaking the chains that bind your child.
Today, carry this verse like a sword. Pray it out loud if you need to. "Lord, You said You would save my children — I believe it." That is the prayer of a mother who knows God is faithful to His promises.
Prayer
God, I stand on Your promise: You Yourself will save my children. I believe and I hope in You. Amen.
