Day 32 — Strength for Mothers
Teaching Along the Way
“And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”
Deuteronomy 6:6-7
There's no set time to teach faith. God's Word wasn't made just for Sunday morning. It fits inside the car, at the dinner table, in the conversation before bed. When you talk to your child about what God did this week, when you pray together before heading to school, when you tell a Bible story while washing the dishes — you're doing exactly what this verse asks. It's the small, everyday moments that shape a child's faith. Don't wait for the perfect occasion. Start now, with what you have, where you are. God honors the mother who is faithful in the simple things. He multiplies your effort in ways you can't even imagine yet.
Prayer
Father, open my eyes to see the opportunities to teach faith that come up in my day. Give me wisdom to speak of Your goodness in a way my children can understand and keep in their hearts. Amen.
