Day 14Strength for Mothers

You Are Not Alone

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Joshua 1:9

There are days when the loneliness of motherhood weighs more than physical exhaustion. You can be surrounded by people and still feel like you're carrying a weight no one else sees. The hard decisions. The fears you don't tell anyone about. The responsibility of shaping a life.

But God didn't send you into this calling and walk away. He said: I am with you. Everywhere. In every situation.

In the doctor's office when the news was hard. On the night the baby wouldn't stop crying and you reached your limit. In the difficult conversation with your teenager. On the day you no longer knew how to help.

He was there. He is here now.

Courage, to God, doesn't mean having no fear. It means moving forward even while afraid, because He is by your side. You can be brave like that — not because you're strong, but because He is faithful.

Prayer

God, thank You for never abandoning me. When I feel alone in this, remind me of Your presence. Let Your companionship be more real to me than my exhaustion. Amen.
