Day 76Marriage Devotional

Mercies That Renew

It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:22-23

After the storm comes the morning. And God's morning is always new — always carrying fresh mercy, a fresh start that doesn't depend on what you did yesterday.

This is one of the most beautiful things about a marriage lived with God: there isn't just one chance. There is tomorrow's morning. There is mercy that renews itself. There is the fresh start God offers without charging you for what's behind.

Maybe you need to hear this today: what happened before doesn't have to define what comes next. The hard season is not the end of the story. Yesterday's argument doesn't seal your marriage's fate. God's mercies are new — for you, for your spouse, for your marriage.

Open your eyes to this morning. God has already placed fresh mercy in it. Receive it, breathe, and begin again.

Prayer

Father, thank You for mercies that are new every morning. You never let me start the day empty-handed — You give me a fresh start. May I carry that mercy into my marriage today. Amen.
