Day 2Peace in Place of Anxiety

Name What You're Feeling

In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

Psalm 94:19

Anxiety has a way of growing in the dark. When you don't name what you're feeling, it becomes a vague, enormous weight that seems to swallow everything. So today, do one simple thing: name it. What exactly is troubling you? Is it the bills that don't add up? Someone's health? That child of yours? A future you can't quite see? David, in today's psalm, didn't hide from God that his cares were multiplying within him — he said it plainly. And it was right there, in the middle of that crowd of worries, that God's comfort found his soul. You don't need to pray with beautiful words. You need to pray with true words. Take whatever weighs on you most today and say it out loud to God. What gets a name before Him stops being a faceless monster and becomes a prayer He can answer.

Prayer

Father, today I tell You plainly what troubles me. My cares are multiplying within me — come with Your comfort and revive my weary soul. Amen.
