Day 19 — Little Ones with God
Daniel and the lions
“My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.”
Daniel 6.22
Daniel loved praying to God so much that he kept praying even after a silly king made a law against it! Because of that, Daniel was thrown into a den full of lions — imagine how scary that must have been! But Daniel trusted God with his whole heart, and God sent an angel to shut the lions' mouths all night long. In the morning, Daniel walked out of the den without a single scratch! The king was amazed by God's power. This story shows that when we do what's right and trust God, He takes care of us, even in the scariest situations. You can trust God like that too, knowing He is always watching over you, ready to protect you.
Prayer
God, just like You took care of Daniel in the lions' den, take care of me too. I trust in You. Amen.
