Honor your father and mother

God gave His people ten very important little rules, called the Ten Commandments. One of them talks about something you can do every single day: honoring your father and mother. To honor means treating them with respect, listening with care, helping when you can, and saying 'I love you.' Your parents (or whoever takes care of you) work hard, worry about you, and do everything they can so you can grow up happy and safe. God thought this little rule was so important that He placed it among the main ones! Today, why not do something special to show love to whoever takes care of you? It could be a big hug, helping put away a toy, or just saying a sincere 'thank you.'
