Day 25 — The Proverbs 31 Woman
Courage for Difficult Days
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee.”
Joshua 1:9
The strength and dignity of the woman in Proverbs 31 are proven precisely on the hard days. Anyone can be serene when everything is going well; true faith shows up in the storm. And courage, remember, is not the absence of fear — it's taking the step even with your heart racing. God never promised to spare you from every challenge; He promised something better: to be with you in the middle of it. "The LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." That conversation you dread, the news that shook you, the battle that feels too big — you don't face them alone. The courage of a woman of faith doesn't come from feeling strong; it comes from knowing Who walks beside her. Today, if fear knocks, don't wait for it to pass before you act. Go forward afraid, holding God's hand. He is already on the other side of what frightens you, waiting for you.
Prayer
Lord, give me courage that doesn't come from myself, but from knowing that You go with me. When fear closes in, remind me of Your presence. I move forward, because You never leave me alone. Amen.
