Day 24 — The Proverbs 31 Woman
A Legacy That Endures
“But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;”
Psalm 103:17
The life of the woman of Proverbs 31 leaves a mark: her children call her blessed, her husband praises her, her community recognizes her worth. She built something that outlasts her. And what kind of inheritance is that? It isn't money, which gets spent, nor beauty, which fades. It's faith — a faith passed down that reaches "children's children." At this very moment, you are writing a legacy, even if you don't realize it. Every prayer you pray, every gesture of love, every time you choose to trust God instead of falling into despair, you are leaving a trail that will mark generations. Don't underestimate your influence. The woman who loves God leaves a fragrance that lingers in the walls of her home, in the hearts of her children, in the memory of everyone who knew her. Today, ask yourself: what spiritual inheritance am I leaving behind? Live in such a way that, many years from now, it will still point to God.
Prayer
Father, help me leave a legacy of faith. May my life mark generations with Your love, and may Your mercy reach my children and their children after them. Make me a seed of blessing. Amen.
