Day 11 — The Proverbs 31 Woman
Clothed with strength
“Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.”
Proverbs 31:25
"Strength... [is] her clothing." What a powerful image to describe a woman of faith. But notice: this isn't the strength of someone who silently endures everything and never shows she's tired. It's the strength of someone clothed by God — a strength that doesn't come from within you, but that covers you from the outside, like a garment. Your own strength will run out, and that's all right — it's meant to. God's strength won't. On the days your legs are shaking and you're convinced you can't hold on, it's He who keeps you standing. Being strong doesn't mean never crying or never needing help; it means leaning on the One who never grows weary. The virtuous woman is strong because she knows where her strength comes from. Today, if you feel weak, don't push yourself harder — clothe yourself in God instead. He is the garment of strength you're missing.
Prayer
Lord, when my strength runs out, be my strength. Clothe me with Your courage to face this day. I lean on You, because on my own I can't carry it — but with You, I stand. Amen.
