Day 1 — The Proverbs 31 Woman
An invitation, not an impossible standard
“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.”
Proverbs 31:10
Before anything else, breathe. If you opened this book expecting to walk away with a long list of everything you need to fix, let me ask you to set that weight down. Proverbs 31 wasn't written to shame you — it was written to enchant you with what God can make flourish in you. Notice how the passage begins with a question — "who can find her?" She is like a rare, precious treasure, worth far more than the finest jewels. That treasure isn't a perfect woman; it's a woman of faith, ordinary like you, who lets God work in her heart. You don't have to live up to everything in these verses. You only need to walk, day after day, closer to the One who calls you precious. Over the next 31 days, you're not here to prove your worth. You're here to discover the worth God has already seen in you.
Prayer
Lord, I come to You without masks and without demands. Take from me the weight of having to be perfect, and teach me to rest in the worth You give me. By Your grace, birth in me the woman You dreamed of. Amen.
