Day 68 — Young Woman of Faith
The Source of Wisdom
“For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”
Proverbs 2:6
You're going to spend many years studying. Learning new things, gathering information, seeking to understand the world. And all of that is good — God created your mind to learn.
But there's a difference between information and wisdom. Information you gather. Wisdom you receive — from God.
Wisdom is knowing what to do with what you know. It's discerning what's worth it. It's choosing carefully when there are many options. It's seeing beyond the obvious.
This kind of understanding doesn't come only from books or videos. It comes from cultivating intimacy with the One who knows all things. From bringing your questions to Him before bringing them to Google. From sincerely asking, "God, what do You think about this?"
You can be very intelligent and still need God's wisdom. In fact, the more you learn, the more you realize how much you need Him.
Seek knowledge. But seek the Source first.
Prayer
Lord, I want wisdom that comes from You. Teach me to consult You before making decisions. May my learning be guided by Your light. Amen.
