Day 38Young Woman of Faith

No Weight of Guilt

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:1

There's a voice that isn't God's, but that we sometimes mistake for His. It says: "you're not good enough," "after what you did, how dare you pray?," "God is disappointed in you." That voice is a lie.

God's Spirit convicts — it points out the mistake with clarity and gentleness, and it also points the way back. Condemnation, on the other hand, crushes. It doesn't show a way out. It just keeps you on the ground with no strength to get up.

If you're carrying guilt over something you've already confessed and repented of, listen carefully: that isn't God. God has forgiven. What you're feeling is the weight of a lie the enemy uses to keep you paralyzed, far from God's presence and purpose.

You can get up. You can pray with confidence. You can live free. Not because you deserve it — but because He paid for it. And the price was enough. You don't need to punish yourself anymore.

Prayer

Father, today I receive Your grace without guilt and without condemnation. Thank You for paying the price I couldn't pay. May I live free — truly free. Amen.
