Your Calling Is Bigger Than a Career

There's enormous pressure to "figure out" your calling as if it were an equation with a single correct answer, and as if getting that answer wrong would be catastrophic.

But calling is bigger than career. It's the way you, being who God made you, impact the world around you. And it will reveal itself in layers, over time, as you walk it out.

You can chart the course — choose a field, a course of study, a direction. God wants you to use your mind, your inclinations, your gifts. But Scripture says He directs the steps. That means even if you take a step in the wrong direction, God can redirect you. He isn't too rigid to make a turn.

So stop being afraid of making a mistake forever. Make the best choice you can make right now, with what you know right now, seeking God — and trust that He guides your steps.
