Day 1Young Woman of Faith

You Were Made on Purpose

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Psalm 139:14

There are days when you look in the mirror and don't much like what you see. There are days when you compare your face, your body, your life to other girls' — and feel like you came up short. That feeling is real — but it isn't true.

God doesn't make crooked things. When He formed you, He wasn't distracted, wasn't in a hurry, wasn't improvising. Every detail of you — the way you smile, the way you think, even your imperfections — was carefully thought out by Him. The Word says you were made in an awe-inspiring way. That's more than "pretty" or "normal." It's something that inspires wonder.

Today, before you check your feed or what others think of you, remember this: the most important opinion about who you are doesn't live on any screen. It lives in the mouth of the One who created you. And He says His work is marvelous — and that work is you.

Let that truth sink deep into your heart today.

Prayer

Lord, it's hard to see myself as a marvelous work when I compare myself so much to others. Today, I choose to believe Your Word more than my feelings. Help me see myself through Your eyes. Amen.
