Hand over the decision that's keeping you up

There's a decision weighing on your mind, and it has chosen the night to speak louder. You weigh it, calculate, turn from side to side, and sleep doesn't come. The Word brings relief: yes, you plan, but it is God who directs your steps. You don't have to solve everything today, alone, in the dark. Do your part of thinking it through calmly, and then hand the direction over to the One who sees what you cannot. The middle of the night is a poor counselor; it magnifies fears and hides answers. Tonight, instead of trying to decide right now, place the choice in God's hands and sleep. He directs the steps of those who trust Him, and often clarity comes right after a night of rest. Let go of the decision. God takes care of the direction.
