Day 21 — Goodnight, Lord
Trade Your Worry for Prayer
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
Philippians 4:6
Worry replays the problem a thousand times and solves none of them. Prayer hands the problem over once, to the One who can. At night, it's so easy to fall into that first trap — spinning the same distress over and over. Tonight, choose the path of the Word: instead of worrying, pray. Instead of rehearsing the worst-case scenario in your head, talk to God for real. Say what you need, with gratitude for what He has already done, and leave the request in His hands. You won't sleep better by worrying more; you'll sleep better by surrendering more. Before you close your eyes, turn every "what if" into a prayer. The weight that becomes a prayer is no longer yours to carry alone.
Prayer
Lord, instead of worrying, I come to pray. Here are my requests, with gratitude for what You have already done. Take them into Your hands and give me rest. Amen.
