Day 17 — Goodnight, Lord
You Are Kept Safe
“He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.”
Psalm 121:3
There are days when we feel like we're hanging by a thread, as if one wrong step could bring everything down. At night, that fear grows louder. But listen to what the Word promises: He who keeps you does not slumber. It isn't your own steadiness that keeps you standing — it's God's hand beneath your feet. You may be trembling, unsure, not knowing the next step, and still be safe, because your security doesn't depend on you being strong. It depends on the One who watches over you without ever letting His attention drift. Tonight, hand Him the fear of not measuring up, of stumbling, of failing. Sleep knowing there's a faithful Guard over your life, and He will not let you fall.
Prayer
Lord, You keep my foot so that I will not stumble. When I feel like I'm hanging by a thread, remind me that Your hand sustains me. I sleep secure, kept safe by You. Amen.
