Day 15Goodnight, Lord

Gratitude for the Day's Mercies

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Psalm 103:2

The rush of the day makes us forget how well we were cared for. Before you sleep, it's worth pausing to remember: what if you didn't forget a single one of today's benefits? The food you had, the health that carried your steps, the person who smiled at you, the problem that looked bigger than it was and got resolved. These are small mercies, easy to miss, but every one of them came from God's hands. Blessing the Lord at night trains the soul to see the care that was there all day long. And whoever falls asleep counting blessings sleeps lighter than whoever falls asleep counting what's missing. Before you turn off the light, make that list in your heart. You were held more today than you realized.

Prayer

Lord, I bless Your name and I don't want to forget a single benefit of this day. Thank You for the mercies both great and small. I sleep grateful for Your care. Amen.
