Day 96Closer to God — 365 Days

I Can Do All Things Through Him Who Strengthens Me

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Philippians 4:13

This verse lives on mugs, t-shirts, and wall art. But have you ever stopped to feel the real weight of what it says? Paul didn't write this on a day of victory. He wrote it in a prison cell.

He learned to be strong not because his circumstances improved, but because he found a source of strength that doesn't depend on circumstances. And that source has a name: Christ.

"I can do all things" doesn't mean you'll soar through life or that nothing will hurt. It means you'll endure what feels unbearable, cross what feels impassable, keep going when everything in you wants to stop. Not with your own strength — with His.

Today you might be looking at something and thinking, "I'm not going to make it." But the question isn't what you can do on your own. It's what Christ can do through you when you let go of control and say: strengthen me, Lord.

That simple prayer changes everything.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, today I remember that my strength comes from You. Where I am weak, You are powerful. Strengthen me. Amen.
