Day 339 — Closer to God — 365 Days
The Crown for Those Who Persevere
“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”
James 1:12
There is a crown with your name engraved on it. Not of visible gold, not of human applause — but of life. Full life, real life, life that not even time can erase.
And who is it promised to? To those who endure. To those who persist. To those who, even in the middle of the trial, don't let go of God's hand.
You've already been through trials this year. Some you told someone about; others only God knows. And here you are — standing, reading about faith, still seeking the Lord. That's no small thing. That's victory being built.
The crown isn't handed out at the starting line. It's given to those who arrive. And arriving doesn't mean arriving perfect, without scars, without marks. It means arriving — with everything you've lived through — still holding His hand.
You are arriving. Don't stop now.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for every trial You allowed, which made me stronger than I ever knew I could be. I want to reach the end with my faith intact and my love for You still burning. Amen.
