Day 327Closer to God — 365 Days

When God Speaks Hope

Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.

Isaiah 35:3-4

God knows there are days when your hands are weak. When your knees tremble. When your heart is hurried — that sense of panic that grips your chest without warning.

And what does He say in those moments? It isn't "hold on alone." It's "behold, your God is here." It's Me. I am here. You can let go.

There is enormous tenderness in that sentence. God doesn't send away the weak or ignore those who tremble. He moves toward the one who is afraid and says: I am here. You don't need to be afraid of Me. You don't need to be strong to meet Me.

If today your hands are weak, you don't need to hide it from God. He already knows. And He is coming toward you with exactly what you need: Himself.

Be strong — not because you managed it — but because He is here.

Prayer

God, Your presence is what my heart needs most. When my knees tremble, come. When my hands grow weak, sustain me. Here I am, Lord. Amen.
