Day 198 — Closer to God — 365 Days
I Will Heal You Again
“For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD;”
Jeremiah 30:17a
Jeremiah wrote to a people who seemed to be without hope. Exiled, scattered, with the city destroyed — everything pointed to the end having come. And it was in that context that God said, "I will heal you."
Not "maybe." Not "if you deserve it." Not "if circumstances change." Saith the Lord — with the authority and certainty of the One who has the power to do what He promises.
This is for you today. Even if the wound feels too old. Even if you've already tried to heal it in different ways and it kept hurting. Even if the circumstances around you aren't helping. God says: I will heal you.
Receiving this promise isn't naivety. It's faith. It's choosing to believe what God says about you more than what the pain says. And that choice makes room for healing to come in.
Prayer
Lord, I receive Your promise today. You heal me. May I believe this more than the voices that say otherwise. Amen.
