Rebuilding What Broke

For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 30:17

Something broke inside you — a relationship, a faith, a trust in yourself — and now it feels like the pieces will never fit together the way they used to. You live somewhat hesitant, afraid to trust again in anything, including me.

I am not only the God who prevents the breaking; I am also the God who restores after it. To restore doesn't mean pretending nothing happened — it means rebuilding with care, piece by piece, something that ends up even stronger in the places where it was mended.

If today you feel like you're starting from zero in a relationship, a career, your own self-worth, know that zero, to me, is never the end of the story. It's the exact point from which I love to begin my greatest works of restoration. Let me heal your wound, in the right time, with no rush to force a scar before it's ready.

Declare today

I choose to trust that God restores my health and heals my wounds, even if the rebuilding takes time.

Pray

Father, something in me broke and it still hurts. Restore what was lost and heal, with care, every wound I carry.

📓 Something to think about today

What in me needs to be restored today, and what would it mean to take the first step of that rebuilding with God?
