When I Seem Silent

“And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them.”

Genesis 42:9

I know it's been a while since you've felt my voice clearly about your purpose. You've prayed, asked for direction, and the heavens seem silent, as if I had forgotten the promise that once felt so alive inside you.

Joseph had clear dreams in his youth — dreams that pointed to greatness. Then came the pit, slavery, unjust imprisonment, years of apparent silence. But I never forgot the dreams I gave him. I was working behind the scenes the whole time, arranging the pieces he couldn't see.
