Let today be heaven's way

“Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

Matthew 6:10

I know you have a list of requests for today: that a problem gets solved, that an answer arrives, that the pain passes. And I want to hear every one of them. But before that, I teach you to pray for something bigger: that my way of doing things shows up in your day. That where there's fighting at home, peace enters. That where there's dishonesty at work, truth enters. That heaven invades, even just a little, your ordinary Tuesday.

That changes the way you wait for the answer. You stop praying only for your own will to be done, and start trusting that my will, when it's done, is always good — even when it isn't what you pictured.

Today, pray this with me: not just 'fix this,' but 'Father, let your way show up in this.' You'll see that my kingdom fits even in the middle of the rush of your household.
