Day 57 — Mornings with God
Direction for Your Decisions
“I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities.”
Psalm 31:7
Not every morning begins with clarity. Sometimes you wake up with a decision weighing on your heart — something that needs to be resolved and doesn't have an obvious answer. A choice with implications you can't fully see all at once.
On those days, a prayer for direction doesn't need to be elaborate. It can be simple: "Lord, I don't know. But You know. Show me." And then you stay attentive — to what the Word says, to the peace that settles over one option, to wise counsel that comes your way, to the confirmation the Spirit gives.
God is not a God who leaves His daughters lost when they truly seek Him. He answers — not always at the speed we want, not always in the way we expect, but He answers.
This morning, bring the decisions weighing on you into the space of prayer. Lay them before God. Then trust that He is at work — even in the silence.
Prayer
Father, You know what's weighing on me today. Guide me in Your direction. Let me not make important decisions without consulting You. And give me the patience to wait for Your answer. Amen.
