Generations of Faithfulness

You are not alone on this journey. God was faithful to your mother. He was faithful to the grandmother who prayed for you before you even existed. He was faithful through generations you never even knew. And He will be faithful to your children, and to their children, and to the generations still to come from your line. That faithfulness doesn't stop with you. It carries on. That means every choice you make today to trust God, to teach faith, to pray for your children — has an echo far greater than you can see. You are taking part in a story bigger than your own life. What enormous relief to know that the God who sustained past generations is the same God who sustains you now and will sustain your children afterward.
