The beginning of everything

Sometimes what we need is to go back to the beginning. To remember that God is Creator — and that he is still creating. The One who created the heavens and the earth can create new possibilities in your marriage. He can create understanding where there was silence, tenderness where there was distance, hope where there was discouragement.

You don't have to solve everything today. You don't need the right words, the perfect plan, or the strongest faith in the world. You just need to remember who the God is who is with you. He is the beginning of everything — and he can be the beginning of a new chapter in your marriage too. If this first stretch stirred something in you, hold on to it well. That's the Holy Spirit touching what needs to be touched. Let Him work. The marriage you long for begins with the intimacy with God that you cultivate today.
