Joseph forgives his brothers

Joseph's brothers were really unkind to him: they sold him as a slave! Many, many years later, Joseph became an important leader in Egypt, and guess who showed up asking for help? His very own brothers! Joseph could have been angry and done something mean back, but he didn't. He hugged them, cried happy tears, and told them that God had used everything for good. What a beautiful heart Joseph had, so full of forgiveness! Sometimes someone hurts us, and it feels hard to forgive. But Joseph teaches us that, with God's help, we really can forgive, and it makes our hearts so much lighter and happier.
