Day 22 — Little Ones with God
Jesus is born in Bethlehem
“And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.”
Luke 2.7
Jesus, the Son of God, wasn't born in a fancy palace. He was born in a small town called Bethlehem, and do you know where He was placed right after He was born? In a manger — the place where the animals ate their food! There wasn't even a little room available for Jesus' family. Even so, that night was the most special night in history: God Himself had come to live among the people, so close, like a soft, helpless little baby. This shows how much God loves simple things, and how close He is to everyone, even those who don't have very much. Jesus came for everyone: rich, poor, big, and small. He came for you too!
Prayer
Jesus, thank You for coming into the world, even in such a simple place. Thank You for coming for me too. Amen.
