The bush that would not burn

One day, Moses was taking care of the sheep when he saw something strange: a bush was on fire, but it wasn't burning up! He went closer to look, and that's when God spoke to him, calling his name: 'Moses, Moses!' And Moses answered, 'Here I am!' God had a special plan for Moses: to set free the people who were suffering in Egypt. Isn't it beautiful how God called someone by name, so close and personal? Guess what? God knows your name too, and He has a good plan for you as well. When you feel God is calling you to do something good — helping a friend, being kind, telling others about God's love — answer just like Moses did: 'Here I am!'
