Day 30 — The Proverbs 31 Woman
The Harvest of What Is Planted With God
“Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.”
Proverbs 31:31
We're nearly at the end, and the chapter closes with a harvest scene: "Give her of the fruit of her hands." Everything the virtuous woman planted throughout her life — love, faith, work, prayer, care — comes back to her in the form of fruit. That is a law of the Kingdom: what is sown is reaped. Not always in the moment we want, but the harvest comes. Perhaps you're in a season of planting through tears, without yet seeing any result — a prayer that seems unanswered, a child who hasn't come home yet, a dream that hasn't sprouted. Don't lose heart. "They that sow in tears shall reap in joy." What you plant today with God does not fall into emptiness; it is being kept for the harvest. Keep sowing what is good, even tired, even without seeing it yet. The soil of God's heart wastes no seed. The fruit of your hands will come, and your own works will praise you.
Prayer
Father, give me strength to keep sowing, even when I don't see the fruit. I believe that nothing I plant with You is ever lost. In Your time, bring the harvest and fill my hands with the fruit of good. Amen.
