Day 27The Proverbs 31 Woman

Faithful in the Small Things

Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things.

Matthew 25:21

If you pay attention, the greatness of the woman in Proverbs 31 is hidden in small, repeated things: she seeks wool, prepares food, tends her home, day after day. Virtue isn't made of one grand heroic gesture, but of a thousand faithful, unseen ones. And it's the same with your life. Maybe you think your day is too small to matter — the same tasks, the same routine, no one watching. But that is exactly where the faithfulness God values most lives. "Thou hast been faithful over a few things." Don't despise your little: the cup of coffee made with love, the prayer before bed, the patience shown again and again, the work done well that no one notices. God sees and honors faithfulness in the small things. Holiness doesn't happen in the spotlight; it happens in the kitchen, at work, in the daily care of others. Be faithful today, in the little that is right in front of you. To God, that is greatness.

Prayer

Lord, help me be faithful in the small things of my day. May I not despise the ordinary, but do everything with love, knowing that You see. Give worth to my faithfulness in the hidden places. Amen.
