Day 84 — Young Woman of Faith
Remember Your Creator
“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth,”
Ecclesiastes 12:1a
This verse is an invitation, not a rebuke. Remember God now — while you're young, while life is still opening up in front of you, while your habits are still being formed.
Because it's so much easier to build than to rebuild. It's so much easier to walk with God from the start than to find Him again after years of walking in another direction.
You have this gift: youth. And the invitation is not to waste it trying to find meaning in things that have no real meaning to give.
The longings of youth are real and legitimate — identity, love, purpose, belonging. But the only source that truly satisfies those longings is the Creator. Anything else will leave you empty, exhausted, confused.
Remembering God in your youth isn't losing out on fun. It's gaining a foundation. It's building on rock while there's still time to build.
You're doing that. And it matters more than you can imagine right now.
Prayer
Lord, may I never forget You. May my youth be built on You, with You, for You. Thank You for calling me now, in this season. Amen.
