Day 82Young Woman of Faith

Here I Am

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Isaiah 6:8

Isaiah had an encounter with God that transformed him. He saw divine holiness, recognized his own frailty, was purified — and then heard the question: who will go?

And he answered: I will.

There's something so beautiful in that simplicity. Not "but I'm not a good speaker." Not "send someone more experienced." Not "let me prepare a little more first." Just: here I am.

God still asks that today. Not necessarily with an audible voice, but through the situations that come up. The need you notice. The cause that stirs your heart. The person who needs someone willing.

And the answer He's waiting for is the same as Isaiah's: here I am.

You don't need to have everything figured out to make yourself available. You just need willingness. The training, the equipping, the ability — He provides. What He asks of you is surrender.

Here I am, Lord. Send me.

Prayer

God, here I am. I don't know all that this means, but I offer myself. Use my life for what You have planned. Send me where You need me. Amen.
