Day 90 — Goodnight, Lord
Sleep in Peace, You Are His
“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.”
Psalm 4:8
We have arrived at the last of these nights — and it ends where it began, with the same promise that opened the first one. That's no accident: because this is exactly the most important truth, and it's worth engraving on your heart forever. You can lie down in peace and sleep soundly, not because life has become perfect, but because God makes you dwell in safety. Over these ninety nights, you have learned to hand over the day, let go of your worries, give thanks, and entrust tomorrow to God. May that not end here. Every night from now on is an invitation to do the same: to close the day in the Father's hands and rest in His care. Today, and every night to come, remember: you are His, you are safe, and you can sleep in peace. Good night, beloved child. Good night, Lord.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for these nights with You. Teach me to always end the day in Your hands. In peace I lie down and sleep, for You alone make me dwell in safety. Good night, Lord. Amen.
