Day 308 — Closer to God — 365 Days
All Things Will Work Together
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28
Not everything that happens is good. You know that. You've lived through things you would never call a blessing. Losses that hurt, disappointments that left a mark, plans that fell apart in your hands.
So what does it mean to say that all things work together for good?
It means God is the Master of the tapestry. You see the threads from the underside — tangled, dark, shapeless. He sees the finished pattern on the right side. And He uses every thread, even the ones that seem out of place, to weave something that, in the end, reveals beauty.
God doesn't promise that every chapter will be easy. But He promises that the story, when He finishes it, will make sense. That even what hurt will have served a purpose. That no suffering wastes away in God's hand without producing something good.
You don't have to understand it now. You just have to keep loving Him — and let Him keep working.
Prayer
Lord, I don't understand everything I'm going through. But I choose to trust that Your hand is over my story. Make what seems senseless work together for good. Amen.
