Day 306 — Closer to God — 365 Days
Faithful to the End
“Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”
1 Thessalonians 5:24
The month of gratitude comes to a close with this certainty: God is faithful. He wasn't faithful only up to a point. He wasn't faithful depending on your obedience. He is faithful — period. And what He promises, He fulfills. Everything we explored this month — provision, contentment, gratitude — rests on this rock: the faithfulness of God. You can trust Him with what is lacking because He has proven faithful in what He has supplied. You can be grateful now because you know more comes from a God who does not change. You can be content because you rest in a Father whose promises have no expiration date. As this month closes, let gratitude turn into renewed trust. And carry into the next month the certainty that remains: the One who called you is faithful — and He will do it.
Prayer
Father, thank You for this month of learning to be grateful. Thank You for every provision, seen or unseen. Your faithfulness is my foundation — and in it I rest. Amen.
