Planting Without Seeing the Harvest

“Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.”

Ecclesiastes 11:1

You've invested time, effort, and prayer into something that still hasn't produced any visible fruit. You teach, you help, you plant seeds of kindness and faith, and sometimes it feels like nothing is changing, like all that effort is falling into a void.

I see every seed you've planted, even the ones still buried underground, hidden, with no sign of life on the surface. The harvest doesn't always come in the timing we'd like, or in the place we expect to look. But nothing planted with love and faith is ever truly lost.

Keep casting your bread upon the waters, even without knowing exactly where it will land. After many days — a number only I know — you will find the fruit of that work, sometimes in your own life, sometimes in the life of someone you never imagined you were reaching.
