When Plans Suddenly Change

“A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.”

Proverbs 16:9

You had it all planned, every detail organized in your head — and suddenly a piece of news, a phone call, an event turned everything upside down. Now you look at the plans you made so carefully and don't know what to do with them anymore.

I wasn't caught off guard by this change, because I already knew it was coming. I let you dream, plan, get organized — that's part of how I made you. But the final steps, those I guide, even when they seem to contradict everything you had mapped out on paper.

This sudden change is not a sign that God abandoned you along the way. It might be just the opposite: it might be me redirecting you toward a better place than the one you had chosen for yourself. Trust what still doesn't make sense, and keep walking.
