The Harm Turned to Good in Your Hands

“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”

Genesis 50:20

You know the story of Joseph: sold by his own brothers, thrown into a pit, handed over as a slave out of jealousy. Years later, that same Joseph became governor of Egypt, and held in his hands the power to avenge every tear he had cried alone. He chose something else instead.

When his brothers stood before him, afraid, expecting punishment, Joseph wept and said the line I want you to remember: you meant evil against me, but I turned it into good. That doesn't erase what they did. It doesn't lessen the pain of the pit, the slavery, the lost years. But it shows that I, your Father, can take even the worst betrayal and turn it into a path of life.

My son, my daughter, I know what was done to you. I saw every detail. And I promise you: nothing they did will have the final word over your story. I am still writing the ending.
