I Don't Get It Wrong When I Give to You

“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”

Matthew 7:11

I want you to trust the hand that gives to you. You've seen imperfect parents, tired, full of flaws, still doing their best to give their children good things. If even a flawed human heart can love like that, imagine Mine — perfect, never mistaken, never growing tired of you.

Sometimes you pray for one thing and receive another, and your heart aches, thinking I didn't hear or didn't care. Son, I see beyond what you see right now. Sometimes what looks like 'no' is simply 'wait, I have something better.' I'm not playing games with your life — I'm caring for it with more care than you could ever give it yourself.

Today, rest in this certainty: what comes from Me, even when it's hard to understand, comes from a Father who only knows how to give good things.
