Hold My Hand Before You Fall

“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

Matthew 6:13

I know the path that leads you back to the same mistake. I know the time of day when the urge tightens its grip, I know the thought that keeps insisting on returning, I know the message you're tempted to answer even when you know you shouldn't. I'm not here to point a finger at you. I'm here to hold your hand before the fall, if you let me.

Praying to not fall isn't weakness — it's wisdom. It's recognizing that alone you slip, but with Me close by you have a way out. Often the escape itself is already the answer I prepared: leaving the room, turning off the screen, calling someone you trust, opening the Bible instead of the app that hurts you.

Today, if you feel temptation circling, don't wait until you fall to call Me. Call before. I'm ready to open the door of escape the very moment you ask.
