A Fresh Start for a Weary Body

I see the test results that came back with bad news. I see the relapse after a season of improvement, the body that no longer responds like it used to, the fear that grips your chest every time a new symptom appears. Illness and relapse shake faith in a way that only someone who has been through it truly understands.

I don't promise, and I've never promised, that faith automatically prevents every illness or erases all physical suffering in this life. What I promise is that I am the one who heals — in the visible ways you ask for, and also in the quiet ways only I understand, giving you strength for today even when full healing hasn't arrived yet.

If you're starting a treatment again, a new diet, a routine of care after a relapse, I am in this fresh start with you. Don't lose heart just because your body failed again. I am still the God who tends to every cell in your body with personal care.
