Grace greater than betrayal

“Go, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods.”

Hosea 3:1

Do you know the story of Hosea? I asked him to love Gomer even after she betrayed their marriage again and again. It wasn't an exercise in masochism — it was a living portrait of my love for a people who also betrayed me again and again with other gods. If there is an image of grace that never gives up, this is it.

If you were betrayed and the pain still weighs on you, I'm not asking you to automatically rebuild what was broken — every story has its own path, and not every restoration happens the same way. But I want you to know: my love for YOU, even when you were the unfaithful one, even when it was you who betrayed me, has never had a limit on how many times I'll try.

I am still willing to buy back what seemed lost, the way I sent Hosea to buy Gomer back from the slave market. With me, love that seemed finished always has one more chance to begin again.
